Operation Healing Hands is Completed
On April 16,2009, a team of 8 people left for the Philippines to complete the Operation Healing Hands. We were joined in the Philippines by a Filipino Dentist and Her Assistant. Medcial and Dental clinics were held on 3 days and dozens of patients were seen and ministered to.
The American Team included Pastor Charles P. Locklear, Pastor Chris Hunt, Denis Ricard PA, Landa Strickland RN, Carl Nephew BSW, Austin Strickland, Kyle Ricard and Bryce Nephew. Joining us in the Philippines were Dr. Bernadette Caminero and Gina Ymalay. This trip was made possible with the generous gifts of many Individuals, businesses and Churches. Many lives were blessed and lives were changed as several made decisions to accept Jesus Christ. A Baptismal service was held in the nearby South China Sea and 13 new believers were given the experience of Baptism. On behalf of the Bright Morning Star Baptist Church family, thanks to all those who prayed for and financially made possible this great outreach. It the generous gifts of our Ministry partners that make possible such a great effort. If you are not a financial partner, we encourage you to consider becoming one today.
Operation Healing Hands 3
MSM once again conducted medical and dental clinics with Bright Morning Star Community Church near Dagupan, Pangisinan, Philippines.
We were with BMSCC on Easter Sunday this year where we worshiped together during a sunrise service on the shore of the South China Sea. Many people came for prayer and a Young man was saved. After the worship service we had a baptismal service in the sea and 11 people were baptized.
During the week medical and dental clinics were held and 100's were given medical attention and provided medicines for treatment. Worship services were also held and home bible studies were conducted. We seen people saved, encouraged and their lives phyically improved because of the efforts of the following team.....
Pastor Charles P. Locklear, Bro. Denis Ricard. P.A., Dr. Adette Calinao, Bro. Gene M. Deese, Sis. Tristian Brewington. Bro. Cal Oxendine and Dr. Adette's daughters Louise, Gabby and Alex. Ptr. Uly Sambile, along with the church members, provided very valuable staff support.

April 2011
We have begun our planning for the Annual "Operation Healing Hands" which takes place in Dagupan, Pangisinan, Philippines. This will be our 6th trip since 2000. We take a medical and dental team to do clinics in the Bright Morning Star Community Church. This Medical effort is in addition to a Revival Meeting and community support effort. God has blessed this effort and every year we are able to treat 100's of precious people, many of whom would have no access to the medical care they need and deserve. If you would like so share in this project we encourage you to do so. If you would like to go along, we would welcome an opportunity to discuss this also.

Most Christian Leaders believe that less than 2 out of 10 American Indians are active Christians. This means that the great majority of American Indians dont have the joy of the Christian faith or the hope of heaven at the end of life. This must be changed! The effort to bring the Gospel to the American Indian must be multiplied, and MSM desires to be part of that effort. Perhaps You share this burden as well. We welcome YOU to be a partner with us. Pray and ask God what He would have you do, then contact us and let us know of your interest and concern for what we are doing.
