Morning Star Ministries is committed to reaching the American Indian with the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have determined to do so by encouraging established works, providing resources for new works and promoting the interest and concern of all those who love and care for the spiritual well being of the Native American community.

A Special Commissioning Service for Morning Star Ministries was held at Berea Baptist Church in Pembroke NC, on August 17, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. The Host Pastor was Rev. Chris Hunt and the service was Officiated By Dr. Mike Cummings, Director of Missions for the Burnt Swamp Baptist Association. A good crowd attended with several churches and denominations present. There was a great response including many who made pledges to monthly partnerships. There are several other ministry presentations scheduled in the next few weeks. Perhaps you can join us in one them. If you would like for us to come to your Church or group, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss it with you. Isa 40:8 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

Isa 40:29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

Isa 40:30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint

Most Christian efforts to reach the American Indian have been diminished in recent years. American Indian work is often very difficult, and barriers often prevent the Gospel message being presented in the places it is most needed. Life is very challenging in many Indian communities and the only answer is the life changing and hope building message that God loves and desires a personal relationship with all mankind. We at MSM are fully persuaded that God is able to give hope and meaning to the lives of all mankind, and in particular the American Indian

Most Christian Leaders believe that less than 2 out of 10 American Indians are active Christians. This means that the great majority of American Indians dont have the joy of the Christian faith or the hope of heaven at the end of life. This must be changed! The effort to bring the Gospel to the American Indian must be multiplied, and MSM desires to be part of that effort. Perhaps You share this burden as well. We welcome YOU to be a partner with us. Pray and ask God what He would have you do, then contact us and let us know of your interest and concern for what we are doing.

We are now planning our first major project.
"Operation Warm Worship".
We will be purchasing and installing heaters in some Navaho Churches in New Mexico. Would You consider helping us with this project.
It seems only fair and reasonable that our Christian family on the Navaho Reservation be able to meet in warm and comfortable buildings this winter. You may contact us for more info. We appreciate your interest and concern. Share this project with your church.
